Region Five Dan Test Requirements

In addition to fulfilliing the requirements listed for promotion as outlined by the World Tang Soo Do Association, Region 5 requires participation in the yearly Dan camp. The number of camps attended to be eligible for promotion are as follows:

• Promotion to Cho Dan: 1 Dan Camp.
• Promotion to E Dan: 2 Dan Camps (since promotion to Cho Dan.)
• Promotion to Sam Dan: 3 Dan Camps (since promotion to E Dan.)

If a student is unable to attend a Dan camp, the student must wait an additional testing cycle before being eligible for promotion.
